Four Arrested As Police Raid Factory Producing Fake Alcoholic Drinks In Lagos

Police from the Isokoko Division of the Lagos State Police Command conducted a raid on a house in Agege where counterfeit drinks were being manufactured.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the command's Public Relations Officer, shared this information in a video posted on his X handle on Thursday.

During the raid, four individuals suspected to be the masterminds of the illegal distillery were apprehended, and counterfeit drinks, along with other items, were seized.

Hundeyin's caption stated, "Isokoko Division officers, acting on credible intelligence, raided a house in Agege involved in producing fake alcoholic beverages.

"The police arrested four individuals responsible for the illicit distillery and confiscated counterfeit drinks, empty bottles, and labels from various brands. The investigation is ongoing."
