This week, there were reports of thefts and break-ins at three churches in the Los Angeles area.

Zion Temple Community Church in South Los Angeles faced the theft of their van on Wednesday.

The van was a crucial asset as it was utilized for their "Fresh Food Fridays," a program where church members delivered fresh produce to a community lacking access to such resources.

Following the theft, the church had to quickly arrange an alternative to continue providing food for 100 individuals in need, opting to rent a van despite the additional expense.

Rochelle Williams, a volunteer at Zion Temple Community Church, expressed disappointment, stating, “We are helping the community. You didn’t rob just from us, you robbed from the community, as well.”

The church members hope for the return of the stolen van, with Williams adding a message of forgiveness: “Jesus loves you but give us back the van. We have to have forgiveness there.”

Meanwhile, in the San Fernando Valley, an individual broke into West Hills Church by accessing a window. The LAPD intervened and apprehended the intruder with the help of the church's security team.

In another incident in Sylmar, a trailer with a small tractor attached was stolen from Legacy Church.

Fortunately, the pastor spotted the stolen trailer being towed by a vehicle and decided to follow the driver. The pursuit ended in a crash, but the tractor was missing, leaving the pastor unsure of its whereabouts or the intentions of the thief.
