New York City: man Confesses to stashing drug dealer’s severed head in fridge for 2 years (Video)

A Brooklyn man, currently behind bars in Virginia, apparently spilled the details of a gruesome crime during an interview. Nicholas McGee, 45, confessed to killing a sex offender, Kawsheen Gelzer, over a drug dispute and hiding Gelzer's head in his apartment for nearly two years.

According to sources, McGee's confession came during an hour-long interview facilitated by a simple offering: a cigarette. In the chilling revelation, McGee claimed that Gelzer, in his dying breath, asked why he was being attacked, to which McGee callously responded with disdain for Gelzer.

McGee and his wife, Heather Stines, allegedly sliced up Gelzer's body after the murder, stealing drugs from his pockets and consuming them. The couple then stored the remains in their apartment for days, attempting to conceal the crime by placing the dismembered body parts in plastic bags inside a suitcase in the fridge.

The revelation prompted a visit from law enforcement to Virginia, where McGee is currently held on an identity fraud case. Stines, charged with concealment of a corpse, had implicated her husband in the crime, citing a drug-related dispute between McGee and Gelzer as the motive for the murder.

McGee portrayed himself as the victim, expressing frustration with Gelzer for not providing drugs, despite the couple often accommodating him on their couch. He claimed Gelzer, a registered sex offender since 2005, was disrespectful to them, leading to a snapping point for McGee.

The alleged murder date was earlier than initially believed, occurring on March 22, 2022. McGee described a violent struggle initiated when Gelzer, who had fallen asleep on their couch, was attacked with a kitchen knife. The confrontation escalated, resulting in multiple stabbings and a hammer blow.

The couple left Gelzer's mutilated body in their apartment for days until signs of decomposition appeared, prompting them to dismember the remains while sharing a bottle of vodka. Despite considering disposing of the body, they ultimately opted to store it in their apartment due to the complications of doing so in a busy building.

The discovery of Gelzer's dismembered body occurred only recently, with neighbors noting suspicions about a deadly struggle in the couple's unit. Stines had reportedly been secretive about the apartment, particularly concerning the taped-up fridge, preventing visitors from getting too close.

When authorities finally raided the home, they found Gelzer's head and other body parts stored on ice.
