A moral critic on X criticized Herbert Wigwe's eldest daughter for not standing to greet Nigeria's Vice President, Kashim Shettima.
The X user posted a photo of Tochi Wigwe seated while receiving a handshake from Shettima during an event held to mourn the deaths of Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba Wigwe, and their son Chizzy Wigwe in a helicopter crash. Additionally, the user shared images of former VP Yemi Osinbajo and businessman Aliko Dangote standing to shake hands with Shettima.
In their post, they remarked, “Same Man, different regard. Whoever that girl is, she lacks proper home training. You don't shake a person old enough to be your father while sitting down.”
Several other X users from the North also criticized the grieving daughter.
However, many came to her defense.
