Authorities from the St. Andrew North Police Division have launched a full investigation into the murder. As of now, no arrests have been reported. The division has recorded 12 homicides so far this year, closely mirroring the 14 reported during the same period in 2024.

Fans of the TikTok star have since flooded his social media pages with tributes, mourning the loss of a rising digital creator known for his engaging content and lively personality.

The tragedy echoes another high-profile killing in December, when Mexican TikTok star Leovardo Asipuro Soto, known as "Gordo Percui," and his wife Brenda Félix were shot outside their home in Culiacán, northwestern Mexico. Leovardo died at the scene, while Brenda succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Authorities have also opened an investigation into their deaths, though no arrests have been made.

Leovardo had built a significant following, with over one million TikTok followers, 470,000 Instagram followers, and 172,000 YouTube subscribers. He was well known for his comedic sketches and collaborations with other content creators, including Markitos Toys.

Both incidents highlight growing concerns over violence affecting online influencers in regions struggling with gun violence and organized crime.
