42-year-old father arrested for raping nine-year-old daughter

Police in Adamawa have apprehended a 42-year-old man for allegedly raping his nine-year-old daughter in Kabak, located in Mubi South LGA.

According to Police spokesman Suleiman Nguroje, the arrest was made on Tuesday after the man's wife reported the incident.

"In the course of the investigation, the suspect confessed to the crime, attributing his actions to excessive consumption of alcohol and drugs," Nguroje stated.

He further assured that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
