A devastating rollover crash involving a tour bus and a semi-truck has left multiple people dead and dozens more injured along Interstate 90 in Pembroke, New York, just outside Buffalo.
Authorities confirmed that the bus, carrying at least 52 passengers, overturned after colliding with a tractor-trailer while traveling from Niagara Falls to New York City. Several passengers were killed in the violent crash, while others remain trapped inside the wreckage. Emergency responders are working urgently to free survivors and transport the injured to nearby hospitals.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes of I-90 have been shut down, including exits 48A and 49, as crews battle to stabilize the wreckage and coordinate rescue operations. Multiple Mercy Flight helicopters have been dispatched to airlift the most critically injured victims.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul confirmed she has been briefed on the “tragic tour bus accident” and said state and local agencies are fully engaged in rescue efforts. “My team is coordinating closely with state police and local officials who are working to rescue and provide assistance to everyone involved,” the governor said.
The cause of the deadly crash remains under investigation as emergency crews continue recovery efforts at the scene.
