Daphne Joy, 50 Cent's former partner, has been named in Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones' $30 million lawsuit against his former employer, Sean "Diddy" Combs, as per court documents obtained by Page Six on Tuesday.
Allegedly, the OnlyFans model was implicated in the rapper's purported sex trafficking ring as one of three women Combs, 54, reportedly paid a "monthly stipend" for their involvement in sex work.
At 37 years old, Joy has not publicly addressed these allegations and did not respond to Page Six's request for comment. Additionally, there has been no response from 50 Cent regarding this development.
The "In Da Club" rapper has been vocal about Combs' multiple lawsuits in recent months, often using social media to mock him.
Jones filed a lawsuit against Combs in February, alleging sexual assault during their collaboration on his latest album between September 2022 and November 2023. Jones also claimed he was coerced into soliciting sex workers and performing sexual acts in front of Combs. He also mentioned a belief that he was drugged and raped during a party in February 2023.
Combs and his team vehemently denied all of Jones' accusations, with attorney Shawn Holley labeling Jones as "nothing more than a liar" seeking financial gain. Holley further stated that they possess concrete evidence disproving Jones' claims, which they've attempted to share with Jones' attorney to no avail.
Jones' representative did not respond immediately to Page Six's request for comment regarding Combs' lawyer's rebuttal.
This lawsuit adds to a series of allegations against Combs, including sexual assault claims involving a minor and other incidents. In November 2023, he settled a rape and abuse lawsuit from his former girlfriend, Cassie.
Additionally, Combs' homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security in connection with a sex trafficking investigation. Video footage showed what seemed to be two of his sons being questioned in handcuffs.
Combs' lawyer criticized the raid as excessive, calling it a "witch hunt." However, 50 Cent did not show sympathy for Combs, commenting on social media about the situation.
