Sara House, 22, is fondly remembered by her grieving family as a radiant presence, her life cut short on February 11 in a devastating collision that left her friend Camryn Herriage, 23, battling for her life.


As Camryn shows signs of resilience, tributes flood in for Sara, hailed in a GoFundMe campaign for her radiant spirit and contagious laughter.

The tragic incident occurred on February 11 when the two were struck by an 'extremely intoxicated' woman, identified as 27-year-old Carmen Guerrero, who allegedly fled the scene before her subsequent arrest 11 days later.


Sara, an executive sales associate assistant at Ralph Lauren, had graduated from Texas Tech University, excelling in business, management, and marketing, alongside her participation in bikini competitions.


The collision occurred as Sara and Camryn were waiting at a red light alongside three other friends, their vehicle allegedly struck by Guerrero's reckless actions.

Witnesses described the fleeing driver as 'extremely intoxicated', leading to Guerrero's identification after detectives found her wallet in the abandoned truck.


Guerrero faces multiple charges, including manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and is currently incarcerated in Dallas County jail.

All occupants were rushed to the hospital, where Camryn has remained in critical condition in the ICU, battling life-threatening injuries sustained in the accident.


In a recent update, Camryn's family expressed gratitude for her remarkable progress, noting her ability to breathe independently and significant strides in her recovery.


Tributes continue to pour in for Sara's untimely passing as her loved ones mourn her loss and support Camryn's ongoing battle for recovery, rallying in fundraising efforts to cover funeral and medical expenses.
