Argentinian footballer Florencia Guinazu was found dead inside her apartment on Saturday

An Argentinian female football player, Florencia Guinazu, was tragically found strangled to death by her ex-husband, Ignacio Agustín Notto, who later took his own life inside her apartment.

Guinazu, 30, a player for Argentino de Mendoza, was discovered beaten and strangled in the room she shared with Notto. A note left on the window alerted neighbors, reading: 'Call 911. The children are alone.'

Reports indicate that Notto likely wrote the note after killing Guinazu and then committing suicide. Their two sons, aged five and seven, were found playing PlayStation in the apartment's main room.

The eldest son attempted to enter the master bedroom where the murder occurred, but the door was locked, and no response was heard. He eventually went to the courtyard, where a neighbor discovered the note and alerted the police.

Upon breaking into the master bedroom, authorities found Guinazu's body on the floor, stained with blood, and Notto's body, indicating suicide.
