Australian model and former Beauty and the Geek contestant Tamika Sueann-Rose Chesser, 34, has been arrested and charged with the brutal murder and decapitation of her boyfriend, 39-year-old Julian Story, in what police described as one of the most horrifying crimes in recent memory.
Chesser, known for her past appearance on the reality TV series, was taken into custody on June 17 after police discovered Story’s charred and mutilated remains on the bathroom floor of a Port Lincoln apartment in South Australia. Authorities were responding to reports of a small fire at the property when they made the gruesome find.

According to police, Story’s head remains missing, and efforts to locate it are ongoing. “I can tragically say that we have not recovered the head of Julian Story,” said Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke. “Recovering Julian’s head to return it to his family so they can have a peaceful outcome, have a funeral, and lay him to rest is a really important aspect for us.”
Authorities released CCTV footage showing a woman believed to be Chesser, dressed in all black and walking through Port Lincoln with three dogs in the early hours of June 17—just hours after the alleged murder. Her face was obscured in the footage, and police are urging residents to review any available CCTV or dashcam footage from the area that may assist in the investigation.

Chesser was found in the backyard of the property in what police described as a “catatonic and unresponsive state.” She was arrested at the scene and later charged with murder, improper disposal of human remains, and assaulting a police officer.
Court documents revealed that the former reality star is currently being held under a mental health detention order and has been denied bail. She is expected to appear in court for a committal hearing in December.

Chesser’s sister, Kiya-May, spoke out following the arrest, insisting the accused had suffered years of trauma and mental illness. “This is not her,” she said. “She would never do these things. Her brain has been fried from a life of trauma and abuse.”
The motive behind the savage killing remains unclear, and police say the investigation is ongoing.
