Authorities in Indonesia have launched an urgent manhunt for two armed Australian men suspected of carrying out a deadly shooting at a luxury villa near Munggu Beach on the Indonesian resort island of Bali. The attack, which occurred just after midnight on Friday, left one Australian tourist dead and another injured.
The incident took place at Villa Casa Santisya in the Badung district, a popular tourist area. The victim, 32-year-old Zivan Radmanovic from Melbourne, was shot multiple times inside a bathroom, where police recovered 17 bullet casings and two intact bullets. A second Australian man, aged 34 and also from Melbourne, was severely beaten during the attack but survived and was taken to a hospital in Denpasar, the provincial capital.

According to Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara, the motive for the shooting remains unclear and a full-scale investigation is underway. The villa was hosting five guests at the time, including both victims, their wives, and another foreign tourist.
Witness statements indicate that two masked gunmen arrived at the property on a scooter around midnight. One wore an orange jacket and dark helmet, while the other was dressed in a dark green jacket, black mask, and dark helmet. Witnesses described the attackers as entering quickly and targeting Radmanovic with gunfire.
Radmanovic’s wife, 30-year-old Gourdeas Jazmyn, told investigators that she was awakened by her husband’s screams, followed by a barrage of gunshots. Fearing for her life, she hid under a blanket. After the gunmen fled, she discovered her husband’s lifeless body and the injured second Australian.
Police have taken testimony from the victims' wives and another tourist at the villa. The Australian Consulate in Bali has been contacted, and Indonesian authorities are awaiting the family's consent to proceed with an autopsy.
The case has raised serious concerns about tourist safety in Bali, especially as police intensify efforts to track down the perpetrators.
