Less than three weeks after their red carpet debut as a couple, former professional basketball player Coby, 31, made headlines after telling paparazzi he plans to marry his girlfriend, The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen, 50, in six months. The comment was made during a public outing in Miami on Sunday, May 4, where the couple was seen walking hand-in-hand outside an event.
As paparazzi approached and repeatedly asked if they were happy together, Coby responded enthusiastically, saying, “We’re getting married 2025-6. We’re getting married. It’s gonna be a beautiful marriage. November 2025.” Larsa’s immediate reaction suggested he was joking; she smiled, looked down, and playfully hid her face behind her phone, appearing surprised by the bold statement.
When asked whether he had already proposed or if this was his way of doing so, Coby replied, “I can’t tell you when I’m gonna propose,” leaving fans to speculate about the seriousness of his marriage plans.

The couple’s relationship became public in early April, with sources confirming they had been dating since the start of the year. On April 13, they were seen kissing and hugging in a Miami parking garage. Their official red carpet debut took place on April 16 at the premiere of The Accountant 2 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.
Larsa Pippen’s appearance with Coby comes nine months after her breakup with Marcus Jordan. Before Jordan, she was married to NBA legend Scottie Pippen. The couple finalized their divorce in December 2021, having initially filed in 2016 after 19 years of marriage. They share four children: sons Scotty Jr., 24, Preston, 23, Justin, 20, and daughter Sophia, 16.
Larsa also returns in season 7 of The Real Housewives of Miami, which premiered a first look on April 30. The season showcases the cast navigating major life changes, including relationship challenges, friendship dynamics, and new beginnings. Returning cast members include Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, and Alexia Nepola, with new addition Stephanie Shojaee joining the group. Kiki Barth, Adriana de Moura, and Marysol Patton also return as friends of the show.
