Prince Emmanuel of Belgium, the 19-year-old son of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, has quietly embarked on a flourishing music career under the alias DJ Vyntrix. The young royal, who is third in line to the Belgian throne, has been producing and releasing electronic dance tracks while maintaining a low profile.
Emmanuel's double life as a disc jockey recently drew attention when his Instagram page as DJ Vyntrix surpassed 10,000 followers, revealing a growing fan base for his musical ventures. Under his musical identity, he released two upbeat tracks in June: “Rio” on June 16 and a follow-up single titled “Palace.” Both songs list “Emmanuel de Saxe” as the composer, a nod to his full name, Emmanuel of Saxe-Coburg, and his classical music background as a saxophonist.

The young prince gave a surprise performance at a garden party hosted at Berg Castle by Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, who is preparing to abdicate in October. The two royal families maintain close personal ties, with Grand Duke Henri’s mother, Princess Joséphine-Charlotte, being the sister of King Albert II of Belgium, Prince Emmanuel’s grandfather.
In addition to his passion for music, Prince Emmanuel is a multilingual academic achiever. He holds an International Baccalaureate diploma and is fluent in French, Dutch, and English. He studied Dutch at the Eureka School in Leuven and is currently attending a language and sports training program abroad.

Emmanuel also has a deep love for nature and sports, particularly skiing, tennis, windsurfing, and running. Last year, he trained at a prestigious soccer academy in Spain with ambitions of playing professionally in La Liga, Spain’s top-tier football league.

His older sister, Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of Brabant and heir to the Belgian throne, is also making headlines. The 23-year-old is currently enrolled at Harvard University after earning a degree in history and politics from the University of Oxford. She recently faced potential issues during a U.S. immigration crackdown targeting international students, though the policy was overturned by a federal judge.
As the Belgian royal family continues to blend tradition with modernity, Prince Emmanuel’s emergence as a DJ adds a creative new chapter to the monarchy’s evolving public image.
