A bachelorette trip to Dallas turned into a nightmare for 27-year-old Canada Rinaldi, an Oklahoma bride-to-be, after she was violently assaulted outside a club in East Dallas. Reflecting on the shocking incident, Rinaldi expressed disbelief, stating, "I just didn't deserve it. Nobody does, but I didn't either."

Rinaldi and her bridesmaids were leaving the club when a man suddenly attacked her, punching her in the face. The force of the blow rendered her unconscious, causing her to fall face-first onto the pavement. The attack left her with a broken nose, three broken teeth, and required eight stitches. "It's just shocking, it's just hard to believe. It just feels like a lot of my experiences were taken away from me," Rinaldi said.

Dash cam footage from an Uber driver captured the aftermath of the assault, including the moment when Rinaldi's bridesmaid, Kelly Peralta, attempted to intervene. Peralta was also punched by the suspect.
"It's just so traumatic," Peralta said. She has since started a fundraiser to help Rinaldi cover medical expenses, including hospital and ambulance bills, as well as dental repairs needed before the wedding, which is set to take place in four weeks.''

"I feel like I'm not excited to plan my wedding anymore," Rinaldi admitted. The video also shows the suspect fleeing the scene. Despite the traumatic experience, Rinaldi remains hopeful that the Dallas police will apprehend the assailant.
"I'm getting there, I'll be okay, but it's hard. But I'll be okay," she said.
