A 33-year-old British tourist has died after suffering cardiac arrest in her room at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in the popular party town of San Antonio, Ibiza. Emergency services responded to the incident on Wednesday but were unable to revive the woman after approximately 40 minutes of resuscitation efforts. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman reportedly had a cardioverter defibrillator implant, a medical device designed to monitor and correct life-threatening heart rhythm abnormalities, suggesting she may have had a pre-existing cardiac condition. Authorities have not yet released the woman's identity.

Her sudden death follows a series of tragic incidents at the same hotel and nearby resorts. Just days earlier, a 19-year-old Italian tourist fell to her death from the fourth floor of Ibiza Rocks Hotel after allegedly trying to access her room by climbing across a shared balcony. Reports indicate she was locked out of her room at the time and lost her balance during the attempt.

In a separate incident last year, a British teenager also died after falling from the sixth floor of the nearby Hotel Vibra District, located just 300 meters from San Antonio's beachfront. The fatal fall occurred in the early hours of the morning, adding to growing safety concerns around hotel balconies in the area.

The recent string of fatalities has raised questions about health and safety standards at Ibiza’s popular tourist accommodations, particularly among young international visitors. Local authorities continue to investigate the latest death and are urging hotels and guests to take additional precautions during the busy travel season.
