Cassie Ventura, the former girlfriend of music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, delivered explosive testimony in federal court, alleging a disturbing pattern of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse during their relationship. Her statements come amid Diddy’s ongoing criminal trial in New York, where he faces multiple sex trafficking and abuse charges.
Cassie testified that in 2011, Diddy discovered her involvement with rapper Kid Cudi after going through her phone during one of his infamous “freak-off” parties. According to her, he found an email referencing her taking a toiletry bag to Cudi’s residence. Enraged, Diddy allegedly brandished a wine opener and threatened her while confronting her about the relationship.

Fearing for her safety, Cassie said she used a burner phone to call Kid Cudi and went to his home, where she also spoke with Diddy’s assistant, Capricorn Clark. Later, she returned to Diddy’s residence, where he threatened to release explicit videos of her participating in freak-offs to publicly humiliate her and damage her connection with Kid Cudi. She told the court Diddy kicked her in the back, causing visible bruises.
After the altercation, Cassie said she returned to her hotel room, only to find it ransacked. According to her testimony, someone had urinated on the floor and left human feces in the toilet. This all occurred just before Christmas 2011. Cassie said she sent an email to both her mother and Capricorn Clark from a flight, warning them that Diddy planned to release two sexually explicit videos, one on Christmas Day.

Photographs shown to the jury confirmed bruises on Cassie's back, which she said her mother took when she visited Connecticut following the incident. Although she initially told her mother this was the first time Diddy had hurt her, she admitted under oath that the abuse had started years earlier.
Cassie recounted the first time Diddy hit her in 2007. After she noticed him flirting with another woman at a restaurant and shrugged her shoulders, she said Diddy physically attacked her in their car. She testified that he struck her on the side of the head, knocking her to the floor while his chauffeur and security guard looked on.

Further instances of abuse were also revealed in court. Cassie told jurors that after she struck Diddy in response to being called derogatory names—possibly “slut” or “bitch”—he responded with brutal violence. She described how his “eyes went black” before he stomped her in the face repeatedly, leaving her swollen and vomiting. Diddy allegedly smuggled her out of the house and placed her in a hotel for a week, allowing only her stylist to see her. She testified that she didn’t want to stay in the hotel, but Diddy insisted she could not leave and ordered her to keep her face covered.
Diddy's legal team has claimed that the relationship involved mutual domestic violence. However, Cassie’s testimony paints a harrowing picture of sustained abuse, manipulation, and threats spanning years.
These revelations add to a growing list of legal challenges against Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
