Colorado Springs Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Shooting Injures Six in Residential Neighborhood

A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a late-night shooting in Colorado Springs that left six people injured. Authorities confirmed that Deomni Myers turned himself in and has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
The shooting occurred just after 11 p.m. Saturday on Potter Street, northeast of downtown Colorado Springs, in a quiet residential neighborhood. According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, several 911 calls were made reporting a disturbance involving gunfire. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered multiple individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

Four of the victims were transported to nearby hospitals by ambulance, while two others arrived at emergency rooms in personal vehicles. One victim was reported to be in critical condition, with the remaining individuals in stable condition.
Police stated that the incident began as an argument among several individuals that escalated into gunfire. The motive behind the confrontation remains under investigation.
