A fitness influencer and mother of seven was fatally shot along with her date in Southern California by her estranged husband, who was then shot and killed by an off-duty police officer, according to authorities.
Fontana Police confirmed that 40-year-old Gloria Zamora and 43-year-old Hector Garduno were gunned down in a parking lot outside a sushi restaurant in Fontana on Saturday evening. The shooter, identified as 45-year-old Tomas Albert Tamayo Lizarraga, allegedly tracked the couple to the restaurant before opening fire.

Zamora and Garduno were found by responding officers with gunshot wounds and were transported to local hospitals, where both succumbed to their injuries.
Police said an off-duty officer who happened to be at the scene confronted Lizarraga immediately after the shooting and fatally shot him. Authorities believe Lizarraga targeted the victims intentionally. Zamora was reportedly in the process of divorcing him.

Zamora, a popular fitness coach and social media influencer with more than 150,000 followers on Instagram, was known for her motivational content and health coaching. She leaves behind seven children. Garduno, her date that night, was the father of four, according to police.
Officials stated the estranged husband had tracked the pair’s whereabouts to the restaurant and carried out the shooting as they exited the establishment.
A GoFundMe campaign set up to support Zamora’s children has already raised more than $25,000.
