Police in Portland, Oregon, are investigating a violent incident in which four teenagers were stabbed during a pop-up outdoor rave party attended by hundreds of people early Saturday morning.
The large gathering took place along the Eastbank Esplanade, where Portland police said a disturbance erupted among the crowd. Three adult males in their late teens and one teenage boy sustained stab wounds during the incident.
According to authorities, all four victims were conscious and able to speak when emergency personnel arrived at the scene. Two were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, while the remaining two were treated for minor injuries.
One of the injured teens was taken into custody at the hospital in connection with the investigation. Police have not released his identity, and it remains unclear whether he will face criminal charges.
Officials noted that the chaotic nature of the party made it difficult to determine exactly how many individuals were involved in the scuffle. While no additional suspects are currently being sought, investigators are urging anyone who attended the event to come forward with information.
"Many potential witnesses left without speaking to police," authorities said, emphasizing the need for public assistance to reconstruct the sequence of events that led to the stabbing.
The investigation remains active as detectives continue reviewing evidence and gathering witness statements.
