Two Georgia men, Stephen Glosser, 37, and Caleb Kinsey, 34, from Richmond Hill, face federal charges for allegedly bombing a woman's house using a homemade explosive device. They are accused of plotting various violent acts, including "scalping" the victim and intending to release a large python snake to harm another individual.
The incident took place on Jan. 13, 2023, causing significant damage to the victim's home. The explosion was powerful enough to blow off bricks and create a sizable crater in the concrete driveway.
According to officials, Glosser and Kinsey engaged in electronic surveillance of the victim from December 2022 to January 2023, with the intent to intimidate, harass, or cause harm. They planned to shoot arrows at her door, release a python into her home, mail offensive materials, and ultimately detonate an explosive device they had created using Tannerite.
The investigation revealed that Glosser had a prior relationship with the victim, which turned sour, leading to escalating conflicts and eventual criminal acts. Both men, former members of the U.S. Air Force, also had plans to target a courthouse and a former coworker.
Kinsey was arrested in Louisiana, initially facing charges related to firearm possession as a convicted felon, while Glosser faced charges related to explosives possession, transportation, and receipt. These charges were later adjusted to include stalking, conspiracy, use of explosives in a felony, and possession of an unregistered destructive device.
If convicted, the men could face up to 20 years in prison for conspiracy and an additional 10 years for using explosives to commit a felony offense.
