Iris Jones, the daring OAP who made headlines with her whirlwind romance with toyboy Mohamed Ibriham, has embarked on a new chapter in her love life, despite previously swearing off dating.

After captivating the nation with her candid revelations about her relationship on This Morning in 2020, Iris and Mohamed, who was 46 years her junior, called it quits last summer after four years together.

Undeterred by her past experiences, Iris has confessed to reentering the world of social media and dating apps in search of romance. She revealed that sparks are already flying with a prospective suitor, a 76-year-old gentleman with whom she's been discussing topics like the cost-of-living crisis and Brexit. This mystery man is just one of several who have expressed interest in Iris.

Among her potential suitors is a 67-year-old gentleman from Weston-super-Mare, whom Iris describes as having "lots of lovely silver hair." Despite initially swearing off love after her split from Mohamed, Iris found herself missing male companionship a few months later.

In an interview, Iris shared her decision to give love another chance: "Now, I’ve decided to try again in my search for love. I’m back online. I’m already chatting to a couple of men and hopefully, I’ll meet up with one of them soon. Though, I’m going to keep my feet firmly on the ground and not get swept away like I did with Mohamed. I’m still astonished that I was besotted with him so quickly."

Just last month, Iris referred to her ex-husband as "evil" and "The Prince of Darkness," revealing that she kicked him out in June 2023. She also humorously mentioned replacing him with a cat, asserting her determination to protect her property from him.

Iris and Mohamed initially met in 2019 through a Facebook group for atheists, and their relationship quickly escalated. Iris flew to Egypt, where Mohamed resided at the time, and the couple's passionate first night together marked the beginning of their intense romance.

After navigating the complexities of bringing Mohamed to the UK, including securing a spousal visa, Iris appeared on This Morning, where she famously shared intimate details about their relationship, including their use of a whole tube of Jelly lubricant.

However, the couple's relationship eventually soured, leading to their split last summer due to constant arguments. Despite the end of this chapter, Iris remains hopeful and open to the possibility of finding love once again.
