Dramatic footage captures the harrowing moment three survivors sprint away from a private jet explosion in Florida, tragically claiming the lives of the aircraft's two pilots.

Among the survivors were crew member Sydney Ann Bosmans, 23, along with passengers Aaron Baker, 35, and Audra Green, 23, as they were seen fleeing the blazing wreckage following the crash on Friday.

Pilot Edward Daniel Murphy, 50, and second-in-command Ian Frederick Hofmann, 65, lost their lives when the jet's engines failed, resulting in the crash on the I-75 outside Naples.

Video footage taken by passing motorist Kyle Cavaliere depicted towering plumes of smoke billowing from the wreckage mere moments after impact.

"It landed on a car too," Cavaliere exclaimed as he approached. Upon closer inspection, massive flames and debris littered the road.

The scene then shifts to a different angle, revealing the frantic sprint of three individuals away from the jet.

"Is there anyone else inside there?" Cavaliere asked as he rushed to their aid.

"Yes, yes, our pilots!" one survivor shouted back. Cavaliere inquired about their condition, but the woman could only express uncertainty.

The distressed survivors urgently requested the use of his phone as the clip concluded.

The pilots had reported dual engine failure just before the crash in a distressing mayday call to air traffic control.

Despite being only a minute away from reaching Naples Airport for an emergency landing, another audio snippet revealed the pilot's grim acknowledgment that they wouldn't make it.

FlightAware data indicated that the flight was en route to Naples Airport from Ohio State University Airport, although the college clarified that the plane merely utilized its facilities and wasn't affiliated with the university.

Owned by Hop-a-Jet, a Florida-based private chartering company, the aircraft had no connection to the university, the company confirmed.

"We have received confirmed reports of an accident involving one of our leased aircraft near Naples," the company stated, adding that a team would be dispatched to the crash site. "Our immediate concern is for the well-being of our passengers, crew members, and their families," it emphasized.

Bosmans, a graduate of the Beyond and Above Corporate Flight Attendant Training school, is listed as an employee of Hop-a-Jet, according to her LinkedIn profile.

The Federal Aviation Authority closed all southbound lanes for 24 hours as they launched an investigation into the crash.

One FAA investigator was already present at the scene, with additional personnel expected over the weekend. A preliminary report was slated to be released within 30 days.

Police and emergency responders swarmed the area, and state troopers reopened the northbound lanes four hours after the tragic accident.
