Broadcaster and actress Katherine Obiang has revealed that she once felt an erection when she hugged her father one morning.

After this incident, she recognized the need to change her interactions with her father and refrained from hugging him as she had in the past.

She shared this story on the Jasiri show while discussing the viral video of movie director Kunle Afolayan dancing with his daughter, Eyiyemi.

Eyiyemi posted the video of their dance on Instagram, which sparked mixed reactions. Many people felt the dance was too intimate and inappropriate for a father and daughter.

In response to the controversy, Katherine expressed her disapproval of the dance. Reflecting on her own experience, she emphasized that such situations could disrupt the innocent bond between a father and daughter.

She stated, "Imagine if he had an erection while dancing with his daughter, what would happen? It's a normal thing, he is a man.

"When we were younger, we used to play in my dad's room. But one morning when I hugged him because I loved how he smelled, I felt an erection. I quickly adjusted myself, realizing that the playful innocence was now over. I didn't need any further explanation on that."
