Justin Bieber has publicly denied being a victim of Sean “Diddy” Combs, the embattled music mogul currently facing explosive sex trafficking allegations in Manhattan federal court. Bieber, now 31, broke his silence Thursday as speculation swirled online about his past relationship with Combs, who played a role in helping launch the pop star’s career when he was just 15.
“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve,” representatives for Bieber stated.
Multiple sources close to the Canadian singer also confirmed that Combs, 61, never sexually or physically abused Bieber in any capacity. The statement came as internet speculation intensified in light of disturbing resurfaced videos showing interactions between Combs and a young Bieber.

One widely shared clip features Combs making suggestive remarks as the visibly uncomfortable teenager stands beside him. “Right now [Bieber’s] having 48 hours with his boy,” Combs said on camera. “Where we’re hanging out and what we’re doing cannot really be disclosed… For the next 48 hours, he’s with me and we’re gonna go buck full crazy.”
Social media users have also highlighted Bieber’s erratic behavior in recent years, including disheveled appearances, reports of drug use, and incoherent online posts. In one older video, Combs is seen greeting Bieber and appearing to pat him down, which some online speculators interpreted as checking for hidden recording devices. A resurfaced joint interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” further fueled suspicion. During the segment, Combs warned, “He knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with big brother Puff on national television… Everything ain’t for everybody.”

Despite the online discourse, Bieber’s team has reiterated that he was never harmed by Combs and expressed concern that rumors distract from the real victims at the center of the federal sex trafficking trial.
Combs, a former producer for the late Notorious B.I.G., stands accused of orchestrating elaborate and prolonged sex parties—referred to as “freak-offs”—that allegedly involved the drugging, coercion, and abuse of women, including his former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura. Prosecutors claim the events were part of a disturbing pattern of exploitation.
Cassie Ventura has alleged she was raped, physically assaulted, drugged, and forced into degrading sexual encounters with strangers at Combs’ demand. Combs’ legal team has attempted to reframe the events as consensual experiences within a “swingers lifestyle.”
As the trial continues, public scrutiny remains intense, with more revelations expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
