Lagos police arrest man for defiling his sister and asking her to frame another man

The Lagos state Police Command has arrested one Adepoju Ifedayo for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old sister.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known on his X account on Saturday.

Sharing a picture of the suspect, Hundeyin wrote, “Adepoju Ifedayo reported to the police that his neighbor allegedly defiled his 13-year-old sister.

“Investigation showed that he indeed was the culprit but was trying to divert attention.

“Following the survivor’s claim that she sighted a firearm in his room, a search was conducted in his apartment, leading to the recovery of two locally made firearms and three live cartridges – another count: unlawful possession of firearms. Investigation is ongoing.”

In a related incidence, the Nigerian Police Force PRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has confirmed the arrest of one Augustine Ude, m, 33, for defiling a 16-year-old girl.

“On March 12, 2024, at around 10:30 p.m, One Nene Badmus, reported at the Surulere Divisional Headquarters, Lagos State that on the same day, around 7.pm, she had found her daughter, name withheld, 16years, lying down by the road side crying and complaining of abdominal pain while bleeding.

“She questioned her and the daughter revealed that one Augustine Udeh, 33, defiled her by having unlawful sexual intercourse with her. A team of detectives from the division took the victim to a medical centre for examination and eventually apprehended the suspect.
