Lindsay Lohan’s Father, Michael Lohan, Arrested for Alleged Assault on Estranged Wife

Michael Lohan, father of Lindsay Lohan, was arrested in Texas for alleged felony assault.

Michael Lohan, father of actress Lindsay Lohan, was arrested in Texas for allegedly assaulting his estranged wife, Kate Major Lohan, according to court documents.

Lohan, 64, has been charged with felony assault under "continuous violence against the family" after Major reported that he flipped her out of a chair at their residence days earlier, causing pain and visible bruising.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office stated that Major reported the alleged abuse while at a medical follow-up appointment on February 21, 2025. Deputies later arrested Lohan at his home in north Harris County, and he is currently being held on a $30,000 bond, with a court appearance scheduled for Monday.

The couple married in 2014 and share two sons. They later filed to dissolve their marriage in 2018, but it was later withdrawn.

In a statement, Major said:

"I’m praying for privacy for the sake of my kids and myself and pray justice is finally served."

Lohan and Major, who married in 2014, share two sons, Landon Major Lohan and Logan Michael Lohan. Their relationship has been turbulent, with multiple past arrests.

In 2020, Lohan was arrested for allegedly becoming "verbally and physically abusive" toward Major, while Major herself has had legal troubles, including a DWI arrest in 2020 and a 2015 incident in which she was accused of attacking Lohan while intoxicated.

Representatives for Michael Lohan have not commented on his latest arrest.
