London Mother of Three Murdered by Homeless Man She Invited Into Her Home

Victoria Adams, 37, took a homeless man into her posh house and was repaid by him with over ten hits to her skull with a mallet.

A London woman was brutally murdered by a homeless man she had welcomed into her apartment in Hammersmith earlier this year.

Victoria Adams, 37, a mother of three, was killed on February 9 after being attacked with a mallet by Apapale Adoum, 39, who had been living in a homeless shelter before moving into Adams’ home.

Adoum pleaded guilty to murder charges in court on Tuesday. Investigators discovered Adams lying face down in her bedroom with a black garbage bag over her head and a pillow placed on top. She had been struck in the head at least ten times, both from behind and from the side.

Neighbors in the affluent Hammersmith area, where homes regularly sell for more than £1 million, said they heard screams from Adams’ property on the night of the attack.

Adoum was later arrested while attempting to break back into the flat, claiming he was retrieving his belongings. Police confirmed he was carrying the murder weapon when detained.

Court records revealed that Adoum had prior convictions for violent crimes against women. When asked to provide a statement, he produced notes described as “derogatory” toward Adams, the woman he killed.

Adams, who was known to have previously invited homeless people into her home, tragically lost her life in the act of offering help.
