Disturbing footage has surfaced showing a knife-wielding man running through the streets of central Barcelona, terrorizing bystanders and prompting a swift police response. The incident occurred at Placa de Sant Jaume, a historic square in the heart of the city, where the suspect was seen charging through narrow alleys flanked by Gothic architecture, brandishing a large blade and causing panic.

Eyewitness videos captured chilling screams from pedestrians fleeing the scene, with the suspect appearing to chase an elderly man in a black t-shirt. At one point, the knifeman turned to confront another individual who was recording the incident on his phone. Reports indicate that the suspect also struck at least one person on the head before being subdued and arrested by law enforcement. Authorities have stated that the man is believed to be suffering from mental health issues. The motive for the attack remains unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.

In a separate violent incident across Europe, a brutal street brawl erupted outside Tabu nightclub on Dover Street in Mayfair, London. The early morning clash involved a group of armed individuals, including one man who was filmed wielding a machete and confronting what appeared to be a security guard. Other participants in the fight were seen hurling metal poles and traffic cones, adding to the chaos as frightened onlookers scrambled for safety.
The violent altercation ended after bystanders intervened, and the suspects were seen retreating to their car. Four men were arrested—one at the scene and three later in Hertfordshire—while two individuals sustained injuries.

These incidents come amid growing concern over knife-related violence in urban centers. In yet another recent event, footage emerged showing a gang of hooded assailants wielding foot-long machetes on the platform of Queensbury station in North West London. Commuters watched in horror as the fight broke out near the edge of the Jubilee Line platform, highlighting the rising threat of knife crime in the UK capital.
Transport for London data reveals that reported crimes on the London Underground have surged to their highest levels on record, underscoring the urgency of addressing public safety in transportation hubs and entertainment districts.
