A man was arrested after crashing his vehicle through the gates of Jennifer Aniston’s $21 million Bel-Air estate on Monday afternoon while the actress was inside her home. The suspect, believed to be in his 70s, rammed his car into the entrance of the luxury property shortly after 12:00 PM PT.
Aniston, 56, was reportedly unharmed and did not come into contact with the intruder. Her private security team responded immediately to the crash, removing the man from his vehicle and detaining him at gunpoint until officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived. The LAPD confirmed that the man was taken into custody without incident at approximately 12:20 PM PT.

The individual is expected to be booked for felony vandalism due to the significant damage caused to the property’s gates. Initial reports suggest the man did not enter the home itself. According to a spokesperson from the LAPD, the suspect “gained access to the property” by crashing through the gate, but security was able to detain him until police intervened.
Law enforcement sources indicated that the LAPD’s Threat Management Unit is now handling the case out of an abundance of caution. The unit has previously been involved in matters concerning the Friends and Morning Show star. The suspect, who reportedly suffered back injuries during the crash, was transported to a hospital for treatment. Officials stated that the incident may have been an accident, but further investigation is underway to determine his intent and background.

Sources connected to the investigation revealed that the suspect has a minor criminal history and, as of now, there is no clear evidence he was specifically targeting Aniston. However, the nature of the collision into the gate has raised suspicions. Investigators are currently reviewing his social media presence and personal history as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Aniston's Bel-Air mansion, which she purchased for $21 million in 2011, spans 8,500 square feet and was originally designed by renowned architect A. Quincy Jones in 1965. The property served as the venue for her 2015 wedding to actor Justin Theroux. The mid-century modern home features four bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a wine cellar, swimming pool, guesthouse, and expansive views of both the city and the ocean. It sits on nearly two acres of land and previously included a hillside vineyard.

Aniston, a self-professed design enthusiast, transformed the home into a serene, resort-like retreat with the help of interior designers including Stephen Shadley, Kathleen and Tommy Clements, and Jane Hallworth. She has spoken in past interviews about her passion for home design, stating she would have pursued it professionally if not for her acting career.
