The body of a 21-year-old missing mother has been discovered buried in a backyard in Chihuahua, Mexico, after her family received anonymous messages claiming she was dead and revealing the location of her remains.

Danna Angelina Muñoz Rayon was last seen on Saturday, August 17, when she left home but never returned. Her disappearance sparked a desperate search by relatives and friends, who later received disturbing messages on social media stating she had been killed. The anonymous communications also provided the exact address where her body could be found.

Preliminary findings established that Danna died from stab wounds

On Monday, family members and supporters gathered outside the identified house, demanding that investigators search the property and threatening to enter themselves if authorities did not act. A warrant was later obtained, and in the early hours of Tuesday, officials discovered Danna’s body buried in the backyard. Her remains were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service for an autopsy.

Prosecutor César Jáuregui Moreno confirmed that the victim died from stab wounds at around 6 a.m. on August 17. Two women were arrested on suspicion of connections to those involved in the crime, though they have not been directly accused of carrying out the attack.
