A West Virginia couple is facing multiple charges after they were caught allegedly engaging in sexual activity while driving a stolen RV through the streets of Bluefield, completely nude and under the influence.
Police arrested Shannon Bryant, 35, and Matthew McDonnell, 48, on Wednesday afternoon after pulling over the RV they were operating. According to a criminal complaint, officers observed Bryant straddling McDonnell in the driver’s seat as the vehicle was moving — with both individuals fully naked.
As officers approached the RV, McDonnell attempted to play innocent by quickly sliding into the passenger seat, while Bryant remained in the driver's seat and appeared visibly intoxicated. When questioned, she candidly told police, “We were f–king,” according to the report by Officer R.L. Hamm.

After ordering the pair out of the vehicle, police conducted a search and discovered drug paraphernalia, including a bag of white powder, prescription painkillers, and a broken glass pipe. Bryant admitted McDonnell had thrown the pipe out the window during the traffic stop.
Once read their Miranda rights, McDonnell reportedly admitted that he and Bryant had been naked and attempting to have sex while driving. He also stated that they scrambled to switch seats when they noticed police approaching, trying to disguise their actions.
A vehicle check revealed that the RV had been reported stolen from Princeton, located about 10 miles away from the incident scene.
Bryant and McDonnell were subsequently charged with indecent exposure, possession of a stolen vehicle, drug possession, and driving under the influence (DUI). Despite their admissions and being caught in the act, both individuals pleaded not guilty.
McDonnell, who has a prior criminal history, was also found to have an outstanding warrant in Tazewell County, Virginia. He is currently being held on an $8,000 bond.
