Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied divorce after 11 years of marriage

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have ended their 11-year marriage and finalized their divorce last month in France, where they reside, as reported by People magazine, citing a representative for Portman.

Portman's representative declined to comment on the record to The Associated Press, while there was no immediate response from Millepied's representatives.

According to People, Portman, 42, filed for divorce from Millepied, 46, eight months ago.

The couple met on the set of the 2010 film "Black Swan," where Millepied served as choreographer. Portman won the Oscar for best actress for her role in the film. They married in 2012 and have two children together.

Portman's most recent film was "May December" in 2023, directed by Todd Haynes, which received critical acclaim.

Meanwhile, Millepied made his directorial debut with "Carmen," starring Paul Mescal and Melissa Barrera, which premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival and was released in cinemas last year.
