Nigerian Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Wife, Setting Family Home on Fire in Spain(Video)

A 42-year-old Nigerian man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his wife before setting fire to their two-floor family home in Benalmádena Pueblo, Spain.

The 48-year-old victim, who had recently separated from the suspect, lived on the ground floor with their three young children and a fourth child from a previous relationship, while her mother resided on the second floor.

The horrifying incident occurred around 5:25 a.m. on Sunday, when the suspect reportedly called 112 emergency services to report a fire—without informing authorities that the burning property belonged to him or his family.

Footage shared online showed the entire house engulfed in flames, as emergency responders arrived at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.
