Police Foil Abduction Of Kaduna Traditional Ruler, Wife Missing
The Kaduna State Police Command has confirmed a failed kidnapping attempt on Alhaji Umar Musa, the Paramount Ruler of Ninzo Chiefdom, on Wednesday night. The incident took place in Sanga Local Government Area.
ASP Mansir Hassan, the police spokesperson, informed the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that while the ruler escaped unharmed, the whereabouts of his wife remain unknown. Security operatives have been deployed to search the surrounding forests in an effort to locate her.
The Ninzo Development Association, represented by President Prof. Moses Audi and Secretary Silas Anche, issued a statement condemning the attempted kidnapping and the subsequent disappearance of the chief's wife. They called for calm and urged the public to allow the government to handle the situation.
