Pastor Elijah Arrested Over Alleged Homosexuality After Leaked Video Surfaces

The General Overseer of a new-generation church in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, identified as Elijah, has been arrested by the police for alleged involvement in homosexuality. The arrest followed the circulation of videos showing the cleric engaged in inappropriate acts, which were reportedly leaked by a man he was allegedly making advances toward.

According to sources, the individual whom the pastor approached decided to play along to gather evidence. In the process, he secretly recorded a video of the cleric in a compromising state and subsequently demanded sexual favors. The footage later surfaced, drawing the attention of law enforcement authorities.

An anonymous source stated that the Octopus Strike Force of the Rivers State Police Command obtained the video and launched an investigation. Acting on credible intelligence, officers tracked the pastor to one of his usual relaxation spots and apprehended him.

During interrogation, the cleric reportedly provided useful information regarding his activities involving both male adults and minors within and outside Port Harcourt.

The spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, Superintendent Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the arrest, stating that the suspect was taken into custody last Friday and had already been charged to court. "Yes, I can confirm the pastor’s arrest. He is in custody and under investigation. In fact, he has been charged to court," Iringe-Koko stated.

Authorities have assured that further investigations will be carried out to determine the full extent of the allegations.
