Regina Daniels Sparks Split Rumors as She Removes Nwoko from Instagram Name, Deletes Husband’s Photos

Speculations of a marital crisis between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, have intensified following Regina’s recent actions on social media.

Regina, who is the sixth wife of the Nigerian politician, returned to Instagram two weeks after abruptly leaving the platform amid rumors that Nwoko was planning to take actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife following allegations that he had impregnated her — claims both parties have denied.

Upon her return, Regina made noticeable changes to her Instagram profile. She removed "Nwoko" from her name and updated her bio from "Regina Daniels Nneamaka Nwoko" to "Regina Daniels Nneamaka Favour."

Adding fuel to the fire, the actress deleted several photos featuring her husband, including posts from their January trip to Ghana for President Nana Akufo-Addo’s inauguration.

The rumored tension was further hinted at by Regina’s brother, Sammy West, who welcomed her back with a cryptic Instagram post. Sharing photos of himself with Regina, he wrote:

"Thank God say road to success no dey anybody papa house. Regina Daniels my baby's back."

Meanwhile, Ned Nwoko has been making more public appearances with his Moroccan wife, Laila Charani Nwoko, who has been accompanying him on official and private outings — a role previously occupied by Regina. Laila has also been posting their outings on social media, drawing attention from Nigerians who pointed out the sudden switch in Nwoko’s companion.

Neither Regina nor Ned has publicly addressed the rumored crisis.
