Three London Teenagers Charged with Murder of Man on Isle of Sheppey

Three teenagers from London have been charged with the murder of 49-year-old Alexander Cashford in Leysdown-on-Sea, Isle of Sheppey, Kent Police confirmed. A 16-year-old girl and two boys, aged 14 and 15, were charged with murder by joint venture following the fatal incident. A 12-year-old girl from Basildon, also arrested in connection with the case, remains in custody as investigations continue.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening, when police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service responded to reports of a disturbance involving a small group of people. Authorities reported multiple injuries to the victim’s body. Despite the arrival of an air ambulance, Cashford was pronounced dead at the scene around 7 p.m.

A short time later, officers arrested the three teenagers in connection with the assault. The suspects have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court. Police are appealing for any additional witnesses to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
