Three teenage boys have been charged with the murder of 14-year-old Ibrahima Seck, who was fatally stabbed in New Moston, Manchester. The suspects — two aged 14 and one aged 16 — have also been charged with possession of a bladed article. Due to their ages, their identities are being withheld.
Ibrahima was found with stab wounds following a report of a serious assault in the area around 5 p.m. on Sunday. Emergency services responded to the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead shortly after.
The suspects have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today.

Greater Manchester Police also confirmed that a 37-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been released on bail pending further investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Platten stated: “The last 48 hours has seen an extensive amount of police work, which has seen multiple officers working to help get the answers Ibrahima's family deserve. Now that we have secured three charges, a new level of proceedings is active, and we will continue to work on our investigation as this progresses. Ibrahima’s family remain at the forefront of our minds and we will be remaining in close contact with them throughout the process.”
Police continue to appeal to the public for information and are particularly interested in any doorbell or dashcam footage that may have captured the incident or its aftermath.
