Veteran Nollywood Producer, Andy Best, Is Dead

Veteran Nollywood producer Ikechukwu Nnadi, also known as Andy Best, has passed away. The seasoned producer and movie marketer, who had been an integral part of the movie industry for decades, was confirmed dead at a private clinic in Owerri, the Imo State capital, on Tuesday.

Nnadi had been battling a prolonged illness before his eventual demise, a fact confirmed by various sources. Seun Oloketuyi, convener of Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, announced the veteran's passing through a post on his Instagram page. Oloketuyi wrote, “Andy Best, a prominent Nollywood producer and marketer, has passed away. He passed away in an Owerri hospital today.”

Until his passing, Nnadi served as the Chief Executive Officer of Andy Best Production and was responsible for producing renowned movies such as ‘Lion of Africa’, ‘White Poison’, ‘My Father’s Cup’, among others. He hailed from Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

Following his death, his remains have been taken to the Aladinma Mortuary in Owerri.
