Woman arrested after allegedly stabbing husband during family argument
San Antonio: A woman was apprehended following a domestic altercation on the city's far west side, accused of stabbing her husband during a heated argument.
The incident unfolded in the vicinity of the 13600 block of Boothe Grove.
As per the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the man informed deputies that the disagreement had begun earlier in the day and intensified upon his return home. He recounted that his wife retrieved a large kitchen knife and allegedly stabbed him as he approached the front door. The husband described feeling a sudden, sharp pain in his back and noticing blood flowing down. Subsequently, the wife promptly dialed 911 and awaited the arrival of EMS.
Deputies reported that the wife claimed she resorted to wielding the knife in self-defense, asserting that her husband had forcibly pushed her down the stairs. She vehemently denied any involvement in stabbing her husband.
The investigation remains ongoing, with the woman facing charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
