Woman Arrested for Biting Off Lover’s Penis During Altercation in Port Harcourt

Police in Rivers State have arrested a 43-year-old woman, identified as Gift, for allegedly biting off the tip of her lover’s penis during a domestic dispute in the Mile 3 area of Diobu, Port Harcourt.

The incident occurred on Thursday and quickly became the talk of Bishop Okoye Street, a densely populated neighborhood, after news of the shocking act spread.

According to eyewitnesses, the altercation began when Gift’s lover, identified only as Sunday, requested sex. Gift reportedly refused, accusing him of taking sex-enhancing drugs that resulted in excessively prolonged intercourse. This led to a heated exchange between the two.

A resident, speaking anonymously, said that Sunday allegedly became violent over the refusal. In the course of the scuffle, Gift is said to have grabbed his genitals with her mouth and bit off the tip of his penis. The man’s screams drew the attention of neighbors, who quickly intervened. Some attempted to attack the woman, but she was rescued by police.

“The cap of the man’s penis was completely bitten off by the woman,” a local resident confirmed.

Officers from the Nkpolu Police Division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, arrived at the scene and took Gift into custody. The victim was rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt for emergency medical care.

Superintendent of Police Grace Iringe-Koko, spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, confirmed the incident on Friday.

“Yes, I can confirm the incident. The woman (suspect), aged 43 years, has been arrested and investigation is ongoing,” Iringe-Koko said.
