Women Who Married Early Reveal Why They Don't Recommend It for Other Women

Some women on X who married early have shared their regrets while disclosing reasons they won't recommend it for other women.

Two of the women stated that they married in their early twenties and divorced in their late twenties.

They added that they used to advocate for early marriage but their position on the matter has changed.

One of the women wrote: "I got married at 23 & I’m no longer married. I do not recommend, especially if the man is significantly older.

"At 23 I thought I knew everything, I turn 27 in about 3 months, and let me tell you, at 23, I knew nothing! I didn’t even know myself."

Another quoted the tweet and wrote that she married at 22 but is now divorced.

She wrote: "Me at 22. And I’m also no longer married. Turned 28 this year. I look back and I’m no longer who I used to be at 22.

"I used to be a champion for early marriage, but not so much anymore. You will change, and it’s better to do that when there are no wifely expectations."
