Brittany Renner and Kevin Gates Divorce After 52 Days of Marriage

Influencer and Basketball Wives star Brittany Renner revealed that her marriage to rapper Kevin Gates has officially ended just 52 days after they tied the knot. In a recent interview, Renner, 33, confirmed that the couple married on April 6 and finalized their divorce on May 28.
Despite the short-lived union, Renner expressed no regret over the decision. “All is well,” she stated, adding that she believes everything happens as it is meant to. “I don't feel like it's a sucky situation because what is meant to be is always going to be.”
Renner, who recently converted to Islam, emphasized the importance of following her heart in the relationship. “I followed my heart and that’s what more than most people can say,” she explained. “When you do that, you get all the clarity you need and there’s no stone left unturned and there's no regret.”
She added that many people hold back in relationships, leading to uncertainty and dissatisfaction. “A lot of people, their issue is, even just in dating, in marriage, it’s people just don’t give it their all. They don’t just go for it. But I feel like when you do, you’re at peace with whatever happens because I gave 100 percent.”
Just weeks before announcing the divorce, Renner was publicly celebrating her relationship with Gates, 39, expressing admiration and deep affection. “All I can say is, is that I'm with the person that I quite literally dreamed of,” she said in May. “To be able to just wake up next to him and spend time with him, even to have him here behind me, it's like so surreal. He's just the most beautiful person inside and out that I've ever met.”
Renner previously had a high-profile relationship with NBA player P.J. Washington of the Dallas Mavericks. The two share a 4-year-old child.
