The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) detained more than 200 individuals, including active-duty military members, during a major raid at an unlicensed underground nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, early Sunday morning. The operation uncovered significant criminal activity, including drug trafficking, illegal immigration violations, suspected human trafficking, and gang involvement.
At approximately 3:45 a.m., federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies executed a multi-agency enforcement operation at the illicit venue. Of the nearly 300 people found inside, officials reported that at least 114 were migrants in the country illegally, predominantly from Central and South America. These individuals were taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

DEA Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen confirmed the presence of gang members affiliated with organizations such as Tren de Aragua and MS-13. Drugs and weapons were seized during the operation, including cocaine, methamphetamine, and a substance known as "pink cocaine." Two individuals were arrested on existing warrants.
The operation involved extensive planning over several months, including undercover work and surveillance with drones, a helicopter, and an armored vehicle. Approximately 10 federal agencies participated, along with the local sheriff’s department.

The U.S. Army confirmed that active-duty service members from Fort Carson were among those detained. A joint investigation between the Army and the DEA is underway, though officials have not released information on how many soldiers were involved or whether charges have been filed.
Authorities also found evidence suggesting prostitution activities and human trafficking connections within the nightclub. The venue, described as an event center with a stage and bar but no liquor license, was operating illegally. Mike Moon, the property owner, stated he was unaware of the activities and noted the tenants’ lease was set to expire at the end of April.
There were no reported injuries to law enforcement personnel during the raid. However, one individual sustained life-threatening injuries after jumping out of a window in an attempt to flee.
Attorney General Pam Bondi praised the operation’s success, citing it as part of efforts to improve national safety and security.
