In a newly released piece of evidence from Diddy's ongoing legal battle, an audio recording presented by the defense captures a heated confrontation between singer Cassie Ventura and a man she accuses of viewing a sexually explicit video involving her. The recording, which had previously been played in court during Cassie’s testimony on May 16, has now been made public as part of a batch of defense exhibits.

The audio, which dates back to a March 2014 incident in Atlantic City, New Jersey, features Cassie angrily confronting a man identified as “Sugit.” In the recording, Cassie demands to see the alleged video and issues several threats, warning him that if he does not produce the footage, she would kill him — or that someone else might.

“I never killed anybody in my life, but I’ll kill you,” Cassie says in the recording. Her voice is clearly agitated as she presses Sugit for answers, expressing outrage over the possibility that such a private video was shared. She repeatedly states that the situation is endangering her life and that she never wanted anyone to see the video.

The confrontation centers around Cassie’s claim that the man had told her he had been shown footage of her participating in a “freak-off.” During cross-examination last month, Cassie testified that the video in question was not meant for public viewing and that she felt violated by its alleged circulation.

The defense team for Sean “Diddy” Combs introduced the audio to question the credibility and context of Cassie’s testimony. The recording is now among several exhibits made public as the case progresses.

Diddy faces multiple civil and legal challenges, including serious allegations related to sexual misconduct and abuse. Cassie is one of the central figures in the case, having filed a high-profile lawsuit in 2023 that was later settled, though she is now a key witness in ongoing proceedings.

The case continues to draw national attention as more details emerge in court, and both parties maintain starkly opposing narratives regarding the nature and history of their relationship.
