Capricorn Clark, a longtime assistant and former global brand director for Sean “Diddy” Combs, delivered explosive testimony in court this week, alleging that the music mogul kidnapped her in 2011 and attempted to kill rapper Scott Mescudi, known professionally as Kid Cudi, over a romantic relationship with Cassie Ventura.
Clark, who worked for Combs and his companies from 2004 to 2017, recounted a disturbing incident from December 22, 2011. Around 5:30 a.m., she was awakened by aggressive banging on her door. Looking through the peephole, she saw an enraged Combs — disheveled, armed, and demanding answers. Clark described him as wearing a button-down shirt and gray slacks torn from the crotch to the knees, exposing his underwear. He was furious and holding a gun.
Clark testified that Diddy ordered her to get dressed, allegedly saying, “Get dressed. We’re going to kill this n*****,” referring to Kid Cudi. She said she was forced into a black Escalade driven by one of Diddy’s security team members named Ruben. During the ride, Diddy reportedly sat beside her, the firearm still on his lap. The vehicle headed to Mescudi’s Los Angeles residence.

Clark remained in the SUV as Diddy and Ruben entered the home. “I was praying Cudi wasn’t inside there,” she told the jury, visibly emotional as she recalled the moment.
The confrontation escalated when Clark, later in the car, received a call from Cassie Ventura’s burner phone. Diddy grabbed the phone and called the last number, leading to an encounter with Mescudi, who pulled up nearby in a black Porsche. A chase ensued until police sirens were heard, prompting the men to flee.
Clark claimed Diddy then demanded she persuade Mescudi not to involve law enforcement, warning that he would “kill all of them” if the police were called. Later that day, Clark said she witnessed Combs violently assault Ventura, kicking her repeatedly as she cried and curled into a fetal position.
Choking back tears in the courtroom, Clark recounted the traumatic event: “My heart was breaking for seeing her get kicked like that.” She said she pleaded with multiple security team members to intervene before being thrown out of the home, forced to walk away with no transportation.

Clark called Cassie’s mother, Regina Ventura, to alert her to the abuse, saying: “He’s beating the s*** out of your daughter. I’m in over my head. I can’t call the police but you can.”
This incident was just one of many disturbing stories Clark shared. She testified about being subjected to multiple lie detector tests over missing jewelry in 2004 — allegedly told by the examiner that she would be thrown in the East River if she failed. She also said she was denied $80,000 in overtime wages despite HR documentation, which Combs allegedly tore up in front of her.
Clark described cleaning hotel rooms after Diddy’s extended stays, finding “handprints left in baby oil” on furniture. After being terminated in 2012, she said she was blacklisted in the music industry.

In another chilling account, Clark described her first day working for Combs, when he learned she had previously worked with his rival Suge Knight. Diddy and his head of security allegedly drove her to Central Park after 9 p.m., where Diddy told her, “If anything happened, he would have to kill me.”
Sean Combs is currently facing five federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty.
