A Georgia social media influencer was found dead in her home just hours after posting a chilling plea for help on Facebook, with her husband dying by suicide as police attempted to apprehend him later that night.
Zaria Khadejah Carr, 27, known online as "Duchess Dior," was discovered deceased in her residence in Twin City, Georgia, around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Authorities responded to a reported domestic disturbance at the address, which is located approximately 80 miles northwest of Savannah.

Earlier that evening, at about 6 p.m., Zaria posted a distressing message to her 35,000 followers on her Duchess Dior Facebook page:
“I really don’t know what to do… but I need help before I lose my life or freedom! My kids need me!”
By the time officers arrived at the scene, Zaria’s 2021 Dodge Challenger was missing and her husband, 34-year-old Shamarcus Jameal Carr, was not present. Authorities launched a search and eventually located the vehicle around 11 p.m. in Wayne County, about 80 miles away.

As deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop the vehicle, Shamarcus Carr fatally shot himself before he could be taken into custody. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Shamarcus Carr was known online as "The Frenchman," operating a Facebook page with over 44,000 followers, where he showcased his work as a French bulldog breeder. His profile featured numerous photos of him and a woman believed to be Zaria Carr during maternity photo shoots and family moments.

While the precise cause of Zaria’s death has not yet been confirmed, authorities have stated that investigations into both deaths are ongoing and active. The tragic incident has stunned followers and sparked online discussions about domestic violence and the silent struggles of public figures.
