“I Lost Over 200,000 Followers Because Of Election” – Comedian Seyi Law Laments

Seyi Law, a Nigerian comedian, has revealed that his endorsement of President Tinubu in the 2023 general elections led to the loss of hundreds of thousands of followers.
During a guest appearance on the popular podcast "The Honest Bunch," hosted by comedians Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, Toun Cole, and Husband Material, the outspoken comic made this revelation.
He admitted that his social media advocacy had resulted in the decline of his followers.
Nevertheless, he emphasized the importance of integrity in actions, stating:
“I lost over 200,000 followers because of the election which for me, is not a problem. The most important thing is that whatever you do, try as much as possible to draw that you’re doing it from the right place. Whatever you do, are you sure that you are doing it from the right place? Is it fair to those concerned? If you’re not being fair, don’t do it.”
