Austrian influencer and reality TV personality Vanessa Mariposa was hospitalized after allegedly being drugged and robbed during a rooftop party in Mallorca, Spain. The 32-year-old, known for her strong social media presence with over 800,000 Instagram followers, described the traumatic experience in a video posted online, urging women everywhere to remain cautious in social settings.
Mariposa recounted attending the party with a close friend, where she consumed three glasses of wine. Shortly afterward, both women began feeling severely unwell. According to Mariposa, the symptoms came on suddenly, despite the fact that they never left their drinks unattended.

“Suddenly, we both felt really, really bad, and I immediately realized something was wrong with me,” she said. The influencer described losing control of her body, vomiting repeatedly, blacking out, and eventually losing memory of the night. “I couldn’t walk properly, I threw up multiple times and I completely blacked out. That’s when I knew something was really wrong. I really thought I was going to die.”
In addition to the suspected drugging, Mariposa discovered that her Cartier bracelet had been stolen, along with the SIM card from her phone. She expressed fear that those responsible for the attack may have had even more dangerous intentions. “What scares me most is, I firmly believe that these disturbed people who did this to us had completely different intentions for us,” she said.

Fortunately, Mariposa’s partner Luca and another friend were nearby. Sensing something was off, they intervened and safely brought both women home. The following day, Mariposa and her friend sought urgent medical attention. At the hospital, doctors confirmed the presence of date rape drugs in their systems.
Still reeling from the incident, Mariposa said, “The next day I went immediately to a doctor and also to the hospital to check my whole body and I’m still shocked about what happened.”

Mariposa shared her story publicly to raise awareness and caution others about the potential dangers of being drugged in social situations. “I want every woman out there to stay alert. Don’t trust anyone blindly. Never leave your drink unattended. Something far worse could have happened to us that night. Please take this seriously.”
While traumatized by the experience, Mariposa expressed gratitude that the situation did not escalate further. “I’m just grateful that we were so lucky in this nightmare that nothing worse happened to us physically.”
